First Charan Chauki is at the mandir built by Shri Puranmal Kshatri when he received divine hukum from ShreeNathji. Shri Vallabh Achary did the divy sthapan and celebrated Paat utsav on Shri Govardhan.
ShreeNathji stayed here for nearly149 years 5 months and 13 days; and till today regularly loves to visit and spend His Shayan darshans here.
Inside this mandir is the direct surang (tunnel) to reach Nathdwara.
ShreeNathji Shayya mandir is within the main mandir. This is one place where Shri Mahaprabhuji does Shyan with Shree Navneet Priyaji. Shri Vallabhacharyji has his Baithakji here.
Many many divine leelas have happened here. And continue to do so till date. All one needs is shuddh bhav.

पहली चरण चौकी, जातिपूरा में गिरिराज जी पर स्थित मंदिर में
यह मंदिर श्रीनाथजी के हुकुम से श्री पूरणमल क्षत्रि ने सिद्ध करवाया था। श्री वल्लभ आचार्य जी ने दिव्य स्थापन करा और गोवर्धन पर पाट उत्सव मनाया था।
श्रीनाथजी यहाँ करीब १४९ वर्ष ५ महीने, १३ दिन बिराजे थे।
आज भी श्रीनाथजी प्रभु को यहाँ खेल लीला रचाना और रात्रि में समय बिताना बहुत ही पसंद है।
